When setting your listing’s cancellation policy, you may choose from one of five options. These options state what percentage of the payment amount traveler’s receive back should they cancel their reservation. This percentage applies to the amount the traveler paid at the time of cancellation, not the total amount of the reservation. We recommend you align your cancellation policy with your payment schedule. This will ensure you keep the anticipated amount.

Cancellations must be made by 11:59 pm in the property’s timezone on the appropriate day. The cancellation policy you choose supersedes your rental agreement. If necessary, you can choose a cancellation policy that is more restrictive than the one in your rental agreement. For subscription listings, you can override the cancellation policy and refund a custom amount. If you have a pay-per-booking listing and you keep a portion of the payment after cancellation, you will be charged a booking fee on that amount.
